Drop your bad Doctor!

I have been away from the blogging scene for some time now. I have been focusing my attention (what little i have) on detoxing my life and home even more than I have over the last five years. I willingly changed my diet while pregnant with my second daughter 9 years ago, after becoming educated on the effects of artificial ingredients, additives, dyes, hormones, etc.. Changed it even more drastically and became much more strict with organics and natural foods after the Fibro diagnosis. For myself as well as my kids. I got rid of the bad plastic, household cleaners, laundry detergent, everything, clean and green, free of this and that...everything bad except the carpets. The husband is putting up a fight on that one but i will prevail!!! So recently after getting on the scale at the doctors house i realized even though I'm eating well, I'm still probably not working out enough. I decided despite the pain I will increase my level of activity. I took a belly dance class, a Nia class, and I have been on a 90 day program that's a 1/2 hour a day. Its kicking my ass and I'm sore everywhere. But lets face it, I was sore WITHOUT all the exercise. So I have gone from about 3 hours a week to about 6. And the difference in the pain at night and during the day is quite noticeable. Instead of taking about 2 hours to loosen p in the morning its only about a 1/2 hour. I'm not in pain all day and night like I was, just here and there. I have lost weight and as a result feel better about myself which has helped with mood and depression...But alas I had a wonderful wonderful new Doctor who ran thorough tests, neurotransmitter test,   blood, urine, saliva..and checked things beyond your typical routine tests. More than anyone has done ever.As a result I found out there are multiple issues(and things that can be FIXED!) actually causing the fibro to be worse than it ever has to be. Serotonin, cortisol, tuarine, histamine, epinephrine, so many things....I will be starting on an herbal regiment for a few months and I am hopeful to see some improvement and will report back. I suspect with as many people I see wanting to get rid of meds, have meds that make new symptoms arise and create that cycle of pain, misery, and hopelessness..may benefit from such testing and information. I will also go into detail about what some of these test results mean because as I was told repeatedly by many people "just take melatonin if you cant sleep", That was in reality the worst advise ever. If I had done so i would have started a chain reaction actually made it worse, as well as triggered more severe bouts of depression, which is the last thing I need! So I think I'm focused enough to begin writting again as long and my wrist and knuckled allow.
